The problem of Identity Theft

Identity TheftIdentity theft is one of the most troubling problems of the modern world. I could not believe the identity theft statistics that were recently released. At this point one out of every four people will have to deal with this issue. This area is so new that the government does not have a way to even begin to address these staggering identity theft statistics until new laws and regulations are established to police the internet.

How do mood rings work?

Mood ring changing colorsHow do mood rings work? (from how stuff works website)

The idea behind the inner workings of a mood ring is simple: if you wear it on your finger its color will change to reflect the state of your emotions. The ring’s stone should be dark blue if you’re happy, and it supposedly turns black if you are anxious or stressed. While mood rings cannot are not an accurate scientific source of information about your mood, they actually are indicators of your body’s involuntary physical reaction to your emotional state.

I got a color changing mood ring

Well I feel silly but ever since I knew they existed, I always wanted a color changing mood ring.

Today i decided to get one and like any religious web-a-holic, i bought it online. It has two different “settings”. If you are wearing the ring, the color turns into a solid color depending on your mood (there is a table with the meanings of each color), but if you take it off, it has this…err… “color show”. It’s easier to explain with a picture:

This is one of the mood colors when you are not wearing the ring: Solid Color Mood Ring

This is the “color show” when you take your ring off: Color show mood ring

I will try to come back and post more.

Is anyone running Windows Vista? I have it running on my computer but it seems Vista is a memory hungry monster. I have 2GB of RAM installed and getting 2GB more. I hope that will decrease all the paging and unnecessary hard disk reading which I hate so much. (más…)

Limited Edition features a special DDO Red Dragon Poster, “Feats Chart”, special packaging and a new in-game item: Boots of Running.
